Australia Invests in Amorphous-Based Motor Tech
A grant of $50,000 was awarded to Glassy Metal Technologies to develop cost effective methods to manufacture high efficiency electric motors, using a special type of energy efficient metal. These motors will help reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, and will target the irrigation, boating and automotive industries.
