Metglas is pleased to announce the release of a new series of alloys designed for aerospace applications. The MBF90 series include various levels of Cobalt, Chromium and Nickel for high temperature strength and oxidation resistance. MBF90 is a Ni-Co alloy with lower Boron, while MBF92 offers excellent corrosion resistance with 14 wt% Cr and fast diffusion rates with Boron being the only melting point depressant. Our MBF91 has added Niobium as a gamma prime phase former and has the highest solidus temperature of any of Metglas’ alloys.
