Job Fair Open Interview Day
Metglas, Inc. is excited to announce that we will be having a Job Fair Open Interview Day at our facility in Conway, SC! Come by our plant on Friday September 22nd anytime from 10am until 2pm for an on-the-spot interview. We are currently hiring for Casting Operators!
We are located at 440 Allied Drive Conway, SC 29526. Enter through the Visitor’s Gate.
Skills & Requirements:
- Safety mindset is your #1 priority!
- Ability to read and understand measurements and directions
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills: ability to enter, retrieve, and evaluate data
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prior industrial/mechanical experience preferred, but will train
- Please note that shifts are 12 hours/day and on rotating shifts; Overtime pay after 40 hours/week
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs by yourself
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a warm working environment
