Metglas®, Inc. will be exhibiting at the American Welding Society’s 2015 International Brazing & Soldering Conference (IBSC) in Long Beach, California from April 20-22. Come visit us at booth No. 203 to learn more about Metglas brazing foils.
In addition, Metglas’ Dr. Eric Theisen, R&D Manager, will share his expertise on April 22. Eric will present the paper Microstructure and Strength Properties of Austentic and Ferritic Stainless Steels When Brazed with Ni-Cr-P Amorphous Brazing Foils. During this presentation, Dr. Theisen will explain how the joint strength of the new MBF67 Metglas Brazing Foil alloy compares to MBF51 Metglas Brazing Foil alloy when brazing different types of stainless steel. This is especially useful for brazing applications where the final assembly may require high strength and high corrosion resistance.
